Quick and Easy Scentsy Santa Soap Crafts

Want a quick and easy Christmas craft that you can make, or make with your kids?  Scentsy Santa Soaps are the perfect idea. These small, inexpensive gifts are perfect to have on hand to give to teachers, neighbors, delivery personnel and for friends who you normally don’t gift but want to have a small token share.
I decorated these red Scentsy Layers hand soaps to look like a Santa body by using Love Story scent, which is more of a fire engine red and is described as “Innocent pink jasmine and sensual amber embraced by luscious dark chocolate”. I also made some using Linger scent, which is a deeper red color and is described as “Pink grapefruit, sugared apple, lavish praline, and flirty marshmallow swirl create a fragrance that says “stay.”"  My daughter taped the ribbon, while I drew the belt buckle.
Additional materials used:
  • Black ribbon ($1.99 sug. retail from a craft store, but I had a 40% off coupon I printed from their website)
  • Scotch tape
  • Metallic Silver Sharpie pen
  • Gift tags created on my computer, affixed with a white ribbon. The gift tags say: “Here’soaping You Have a Merry Christmas – From the Ayers.  Please remove black plastic collar prior to using the pump”  (More than a few have tried to use the pump without removing the collar and it just results in large quantities of frustration!)
If you purchase five Scentsy Layers hand soaps, you get one FREE as long as you shop through the Combine and Save link. Mix and match scents. Order by December 18, 2012 to receive in time for Christmas delivery. Or order today, to give you time to play secret Santa before school lets out for Christmas break.
